Favourite Drugstore Nail Polishes.

Hey guys :), quick post today on my sall time favourite nail polishes:). My go to nail varnishes will always be MUA's, they are so good and super cheap, I prefur MUA nail polish to Barry M's Gelly polishes! (all prices are from superdrug)

The first 3 polishes are from Barry M, which is quite a popular brand for nail varnishes. Although I didn't get the whole craze about the Gelly nail paint? I mean you can tell because I only have
one (called orange). I found it quite hard to control the paint and it was too thick for me to use. It also chips a lot more than MUA nail polishes. However, I do love the ordinary nail paints by Barry M :) I have my two favourite glitter polishes are, left-diamond glitter £2.99, right-limited edition came with an eye shadow pallette. I love the Rimmel nail polishes aswell, my favourite one for winter is 'Rapid Ruby'-£3.69.ll

Now for my favourites! MUA, these all last really well after two coats :), and they are all £1. I will list the names from left to right. All Nude, Lush Lilac, Amaretto Crush, Bright Pink and Bold Blue. Bellow are also three other MUA polishes from before they got new packaging, the first colour (purple/blue, has no lable) the other colours are Moody Mink and Shade 5.

The Claire's nail polishes don't have names:(, they are all £1.99.

Thanks for reading :)

Birthday Haul

Hi guys, thought I'd show you a few of my favorite presents that I got for my birthday presents, the Primark haul that I uploaded on my YouTube channel was part of my birthday spending, so go and check that out. I am also going to do a LUSH haul over there as well, I'll try to have that up on Monday for you.

So my main present was my camera, I wanted this for taking photos to put on here and record videos for YouTube :) So my parents brought me the Nikon Coolpix P90 :) It's pretty good I think haha :)

Now I'll show you a few random bits that were just like little presents, all the presents from now on, are just from like everyone so family and friends :)

I love Pot Pourri, it just looks so pretty and makes the room smell so good:) the great thing is, you can buy this in like any big supermarket and places like Wilkinson's and The Range.
These sharpies are just so cute and colourful, you can buy these in WHSmith, along with the Note Pad. I was never a fan of the Lord of the Rings, until The Hobbit movie, which I must admit is one of the best films I've watched.

Now for some of the clothing items:), like I said there's also this Primark Haul >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjYg6KbOxg8

There beanies are £4.99 in Newlook and there also buy one get one free! So go get some haha. It has became apparent that I have an obsession with beanies this winter, in the last 2 weeks, I've brought three? Anyway, the jumper is also from Newlook as I got given a £20 gift card, it was on sale for £10 so that was quite good, although I accidentally brought a size 18? when I wanted size 8, but I do like over sized jumpers, so it looks okay:). Socks are also from Newlook, 3 for £4, I thought these socks were so cute.

Beauty products!! So there is going to be a LUSH Haul on it's way to my YouTube channel, which I'll probably just chuck these in anyway, but these products were all sent to me in the post by family :)). There's also a set of four fragrances by benefit, which, oh my god, all smell absolutely delicious!!

So, the Rudolph face mask (£5.50) smells like tea:), I haven't used it yet so I'm not sure if it's good? But I love how the instructions tell you to wear the red nose thing! It's like jelly or something. I've never tried FUN (£5) either? But it smells delicious and ofcourse it's pink! haha. It says you can use it for like everything as well:). The Snow Fairy shower gel (£3.50 for 100ml) is the best! It smells so good, really sweet like candy and vanilla. I love it as well because it has little specs of purple glitter in it :).

The benefit fragrances all smell so good? Normally I stick to sweet/fruity smells, but recently I've been exploring more floral and spicy scents, my favorite is the top right one called Under My Spell Noelle, which is the spicy one. But yeah all of them smell so good:) This set costs £29.50.

The Story of Rose, well, smells like Roses haha :) It's quite a musky scent, which again is not what I'd usually go for, but it does smell really nice:) Not sure where this is from so I can't give you a price, sorry :P

The gift box from lush is called 'Rosie', which obviously is my name, but I like it because they don't sell any other names! Just mine, haha. It costs £15.95, but I'll do a list now of all the products included and how much they cost separately.
-Rose Jam (Bubble Bar) £3.50
-Rose Queen (Bath Bomb) £2.75
-Amandopondo (Bubble Bar) £2.75
-Ro's Argon Body Conditioner (the gift comes with 100ml, but they only sell 225ml separately and that's £15.95)

So that was some of the stuff I got for my birthday:)) I'm not bragging so don't bother saying I am haha:L. When I upload my Lush Haul, I'll make a blog post on here as well with the link and a picture of all the stuff I got. Also, if you guys have any video requests for me to do, please comment and let me know!!

YouTube Channel

Hello everyone :), so blogger is being annoying and wont let me center the writing? Oh well. Sorry that I haven't written a post for a while but last week was just full of mock exams so I was quite busy revising for those.

Anyway yeah, the exciting news is that I've uploaded my first YouTube video! :)  I started off with a nice and simple 'Haul', so that it was nothing too complicated for me ;), I'll be doing a post on here to show everyone what the clothing i picked up looks like on, that should be up within a week, although I am still quite busy as it's my birthday on Wednesday, which I'm going out for a meal for, along with that I have my operation on my knee tomorrow. I did the shopping for it yesterday so I'll put some photos up from Plymouth now :)

ANYWAY, this post was just to get some of you guys to check out my first video on YouTube, so please check it out --- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjYg6KbOxg8&feature=youtu.be

LUSH - Brazened Honey Face Mask Review

Hi guys, as you may already know, I recently popped into Lush to do a bit of pamper shopping. I've always wanted to try out one of their face masks, so I picked up Brazened Honey, here's the description -

Been burning the candle both ends? A detox mask to put things right
It’s hard to stick to all the rules. Eight hours sleep a night, two litres of water a day, plenty of exercise, five fruit and veg etc. This mask is for when you have overdone things and let the rules slide. A detox to get tired and dull skin back to being radiant and glowing.

I was so disappointed with this product! I felt like it did nothing but make my face cold? Like yeah okay that's refreshing for about 30 seconds, but it really doesn't make a noticeable difference to my skin. I don't feel like it achieves it's goal of making the skin more radient either.  However, I was pleased with the smell as it's very natural and it feels very clean on your face. Also, the person in Lush said it would only last 5-6 masks, but I got 10 uses out of it, even with a generous layer, so that was the best thing about it.
I'm not going to rule out all face masks just because this one was a disappointment, because I feel like maybe this product just didn't work for me? I'm definitely planning on trying a few more face masks from Lush though. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, unless you just want to feel refreshed for a few minutes.

If you guys could comment telling me what kind of posts you like and if you want more reviews then tell me exactly what products you want me to try out for you :)

Here are some of the fireworks we saw :)

Towards the end of the night we decided to get the sparklers out which was great fun, although Izaak and Rory thought it was super embarrassing at first, they soon started to enjoy themselves ;)

Lush Haul/Review

Oh deaarr..

I went in Lush :/ , oopsie. I didn't think it was right to be so selfish on my purse without giving you guys a haul :)), these are all my fave lush products as well so you know they're good'uns ;)

So the first thing I got was Candy Mountain, which is a bubble bar. Candy Mountain smells so good, it's super sweet, which I know a  lot of people hate, so if you're not a fan of vanilla or candy scents this definitely isn't for you, but I love them! As for reviewing the product.. erhh, well it makes bubbles so it's fab haha :)) - £2.65

Next I picked up the Star Light, Star Bright bath melt, which I haven't actually tried so I can't tell you what it does, but I love how shimmery and glittery it is :) just beware that this does get EVERYWHERE! This product doesn't have a very strong smell like a lot of Lush' items do, so if you don't like strong smells, this may be good for you :) - £3.30

I got the Sugar Scrub purely for it's refreshing smell of lavender. It makes me feel so awake and clean. However I don't really notice the smell of fennel which claims to be the main scent. This makes my skin super soft so is overall a really nice product :) - £2.95

Bath Bombs!
The first bath bomb that caught my eye was Phoenix Rising, this is my second favorite Lush product, after Golden Wonder. I love these because I find baths super boring, and this kind of makes them more exciting. Phoenix Rising has one of my favorite scents, cinnamon! Yummy, it reminds me of all things Christmas and winter :). - £3.25

Cinders is another bath bomb that is 'Christmasy', The crackling noise is so relaxing, so it's nice to listen to, while maybe having some spice scented candles burning around the bath. This bath bomb turns the water a very vibrant orange :) - £2.45

Space girl makes the bath water turn a gorgeous pink/purple colour, so is definately designed for a girly girl. It has a sweet smell. £2.25

Twilight is probably one of the most talked about bath bombs from Lush and rightly so. It has such a relaxing scent of lavender and is really nice to watch the bath bomb dissolve into different colours. - £3.25

This face mask is a new product for me, but it's description is 'It’s hard to stick to all the rules. Eight hours sleep a night, two litres of water a day, plenty of exercise, five fruit and veg etc. This mask is for when you have overdone things and let the rules slide. A detox to get tired and dull skin back to being radiant and glowing' This sounds perfect for me as I'm constantly trying to do more than I should and my face is definitely feeling it. Let me know if you want me to review this later on.

Halloween Nail Tutorial

Hey guys :) As it is nearing Halloween, I thought it was neccessary that I made a post with a 'Halloweeny' theme. Here's a tutorial on how to paint your nails in a cute Halloween style :), enjoy! I've also added in a fun picture of me at the end;), don't be scared!

Oh and by the way I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL NAIL ARTIST. Do not expect this to be amazing, I just do nail art for fun i guess haha.

Here's a picture of the finished product

Here's what you will need -

-White nail polish - Mine's MUA in All Nude £1 (Surprisingly good quality)
-Orange Nail Polish - Mine's Gelly High Shine by Barry M in Orange £2.99
-Matte/Shiny Black Nail Polish
-Fine nail art brush/pen
-Cotton Pad with Nail Varnish remover, to wipe away mistakes.

Step 1 - Paint all of your fingers white, apart from the ring finger, which you paint orange. Repeat this if the first coat isn't thick enough.

Now it's time to add the designs to each nail.

For the Spider web-

Step 1 - paint 3 straight lines, starting from the top left corner of your nail, dragging the nail polish diagonally across your nail.

Step 2 - Add curved lines joining the 3 straight lines together.

For the spider -

Step 1 - Start by drawing an oval on your nail, then draw the string and the legs.

Step 2 - Wait for the black nail polish to dry before adding the white eyes.

For the 'BOO' -

Step 1 - Write boo in capital letters across the nail diagonally

Step 2 - Draw a little witches hat above it, starting with a triangle and just drawing a line along the bottom of it.

For the Pumpkin -

Step 1 - draw 2 triangles for eyes

Step 2 - Add and upside down triangle for a nose

Step 3 - Hard to explain what shape the mouth is haha, use picture for reference.

For the Bats -

Step 1 - Well basically.. just draw bats? I haven't got a clue how you'd explain that? Copy the picture haha :)

Here are the pictures of me as different Halloween creatures :), I made this on picmonkey, you should go check it out, it's fun :) they have loads of different themes, like you can make yourself a vampire, witch etc, I've done all of them ;)

Now for the special surprise image of me as different
Candy Skull                                 Zombie
Witch                                   Vampire

Autumn/Winter Wishlist

Hey everyone, as days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder, I feel like I'm in desperate need of getting a new winter wardrobe. So I decided to make a list on here of my fave things I've spotted, maybe this will help you guys out too :)

TopShop-

Drench Crop Waffle By The Ragged Preist
  • Price: £45.00
I love the ombre affect to this cropped jumper. The description actually says teal but it looks more green to me? But either way i love both colours. I always seem to gravitate towards darker colours in the winter so this is perfect :)

Miss Guided-

Elyce Chain Waffle Jumper In Grey

£21.99

I like this one.. well because grey's my best friend. This annoys me but it's just so easy to
wear, literally think of any colour and it would go perfectly with grey. I like the gold chain
detailing aswell because it sort of makes the top seem less plain and well, grey ;)

New Look-

32in Blue Acid Wash Skinny Jeans

£22.99

Wedgewood blue (Blue) 32in Blue Acid Wash Skinny Jeans | 287876744 | New Look

I've wanted these jeans for so long, but when I went into New Look to buy them they
didn't have my size! I love the acid wash and tie dye look at the minute so these are perfect!

Grey Across Strap Lace Up Ankle Boots

£22.99

Grey (Grey) Grey Across Strap Lace Up Ankle Boots | 291828904 | New Look

Yessss they are greeeey, I'm sorry, I just love these, they're cute and can go with
anything :)

There was supposed to be a coat here but my laptops going crazy, sorry :( rubbish end to a
post i know

Thought I'd share my Saturday with you :). Me and Izaak went to the beach with two other friends, Courtney and Callum, we ended up catching about 8 fish and having a (sort of) picnic. The beach we went to was really small and we were like the only people there, so that was great :)
Here are some images of the day-
Sorry about the picture quality isn't great as usual, these were taken on my phone. Don't worry, I'm getting a camera in November :). Also I have not edited these images at all

Reese's Peanut Butter Pieces

Oh WOW! I really did just taste the most amazing thing in the world! Reese's Pieces, Peanut Butter Flavour..

Literally, I love all things peanut butter flavoured, but these are just on another level.. The crunchy outer shell is similar to that of an M&M, but the chocolate in the center is just so yummy. It's melts so quickly and is so creamy, then you get a rush of the sweet peanut butter coming through the chocolate.. I'm genuinely considering moving to America to be able to buy these at a reasonable price!

To prove my love of all things peanut butter, I thought I'd add a picture of the peanut butter themed cake i made a few weeks ago (I'm making it again soon for my dad's birthday) I would link the recipe for it, but it's kind of my own, however if you guys want the recipe then I'll try to organize it :)
