Rocking Curves Mascara Review

Hey guys, I have decided to do a review twice a week, for a month on this blog. So that's 8 reviews all together. I'm starting with Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves Mascara. If any of you are want me to review anything else, please comment down below :)

Price & Packaging

Rockin' Curves mascara retails for £6.99 in places like boots and Superdrug, but is often in offers with other products, which is when I purchased this product, Rimmel had a 2 for £9 offer in Superdrug. They're is also the option to get and extreme black version, which I haven't tried, for the same price. The packaging is kind of scary haha :P, its has a raised snake skin pattern on it and it's just black and red.. obviously.

Volume & Lengthening

For me, this mascara is quite good for both length and volume. However, the first time I used it, I found it hard to work with as it is quite wet, but after using it a few times it is a lot better. The images below show the mascara on, after just one layer. I love it because without mascara I have like no lashes, so this product works really well for me :) I would say this mascara gives a similar effect to the Benefit They're Real mascara.. Yes it's a big claim but true.

Lasting Power

I'll do my make-up in the morning around 10am on the weekends or 6.30 on a school day, and it will be exactly the same at around 8/9pm when I take my makeup off, as it was when I put it on. So it lasts 11+ hours, which is perfect. The images below are examples of how the mascara lasts throughout the day, not sure on exact time, but definitely a few hours after applying.

Wand

As you can see, the wand is curved (clue's in the name), this is the perfect shape to get every single eyelash, I feel like it makes it easier to control as well. The wand is bristles rather than plastic, which makes it grip to your lashes more.

Overall, this is one of my favourite mascaras and I definitely recommend you try it out, I mean for £6.99 there's nothing to lose :P

Again, please leave a comment requesting what review you would like to see next :)
