Rocking Curves Mascara Review

Hey guys, I have decided to do a review twice a week, for a month on this blog. So that's 8 reviews all together. I'm starting with Rimmel Scandaleyes Rockin' Curves Mascara. If any of you are want me to review anything else, please comment down below :)

Price & Packaging

Rockin' Curves mascara retails for £6.99 in places like boots and Superdrug, but is often in offers with other products, which is when I purchased this product, Rimmel had a 2 for £9 offer in Superdrug. They're is also the option to get and extreme black version, which I haven't tried, for the same price. The packaging is kind of scary haha :P, its has a raised snake skin pattern on it and it's just black and red.. obviously.

Volume & Lengthening

For me, this mascara is quite good for both length and volume. However, the first time I used it, I found it hard to work with as it is quite wet, but after using it a few times it is a lot better. The images below show the mascara on, after just one layer. I love it because without mascara I have like no lashes, so this product works really well for me :) I would say this mascara gives a similar effect to the Benefit They're Real mascara.. Yes it's a big claim but true.

Lasting Power

I'll do my make-up in the morning around 10am on the weekends or 6.30 on a school day, and it will be exactly the same at around 8/9pm when I take my makeup off, as it was when I put it on. So it lasts 11+ hours, which is perfect. The images below are examples of how the mascara lasts throughout the day, not sure on exact time, but definitely a few hours after applying.

Wand

As you can see, the wand is curved (clue's in the name), this is the perfect shape to get every single eyelash, I feel like it makes it easier to control as well. The wand is bristles rather than plastic, which makes it grip to your lashes more.

Overall, this is one of my favourite mascaras and I definitely recommend you try it out, I mean for £6.99 there's nothing to lose :P

Again, please leave a comment requesting what review you would like to see next :)

We went into Falmouth first, so I decided to take a picture of the dull weather, ivy looks pretty though:)
Dull skies looking over to Falmouth Docks

We went into Truro to have some lunch and then decided to go for a wonder around Malpus Park and the little lake/pond that's there, again Izaak was getting annoyed with the amount of photographs I was taking :P.

For lunch I had a super yummy pasta with feta cheese and sun dried tomatoes :) best pasta I've had in my life! Then for a little desert we just brought some macaroons and cake from Tesco's. Again both were scrumptious :D.

Here are a few of the pictures I took at Makpus Lake-

'Non-Blogger' for a while :(

Hey guys, I haven't been very good at posting on here at the minute:(. I'm in my last year of Secondary school, so most of my focus is going on my exams, and the remaining time I have is spent making YouTube videos, or seeing friends, I don't want to make blogging sound less important, it's just that I find it easier making a video, so go check out my YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/rosieblindell , as that is where I will mostly be, up until my exams are over.

Onto exams, I imagine my coursework isn't as hard as some, because I chose creative subjects, art, media and the less creative, history. However, I have now realized how difficult it is to keep up with art coursework. Anyway I just wanted to wish anyone who is also nearing exams, I hope you get the grades you want! :)

See you soon, Rosie xxx

Favourite Drugstore Nail Polishes.

Hey guys :), quick post today on my sall time favourite nail polishes:). My go to nail varnishes will always be MUA's, they are so good and super cheap, I prefur MUA nail polish to Barry M's Gelly polishes! (all prices are from superdrug)

The first 3 polishes are from Barry M, which is quite a popular brand for nail varnishes. Although I didn't get the whole craze about the Gelly nail paint? I mean you can tell because I only have
one (called orange). I found it quite hard to control the paint and it was too thick for me to use. It also chips a lot more than MUA nail polishes. However, I do love the ordinary nail paints by Barry M :) I have my two favourite glitter polishes are, left-diamond glitter £2.99, right-limited edition came with an eye shadow pallette. I love the Rimmel nail polishes aswell, my favourite one for winter is 'Rapid Ruby'-£3.69.ll

Now for my favourites! MUA, these all last really well after two coats :), and they are all £1. I will list the names from left to right. All Nude, Lush Lilac, Amaretto Crush, Bright Pink and Bold Blue. Bellow are also three other MUA polishes from before they got new packaging, the first colour (purple/blue, has no lable) the other colours are Moody Mink and Shade 5.

The Claire's nail polishes don't have names:(, they are all £1.99.

Thanks for reading :)
